Jackie Miller is one of the kindergarten teachers here at Oyama Elementary School.  She is very happy and honored to be a part of the Oyama Dragons community!
Ms. Miller was born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She began her studies at the University of Houston before moving to Tucson.  In 1996, she received her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and in 2005 she received her M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University. 
She loves being a teacher and enjoys being a part of each child’s learning process.  In her classroom, she individualizes the curriculum to meet students’ needs as well as focuses on life skills, such as being kind, respectful, and responsible.   
When Ms. Miller is not at school, she likes to read, watch football (Go Pittsburgh Steelers!), go to the movies, and hike with her 2 sons.
