Meet Mariana Denogean, our wonderful library assistant and monitor! For the past four years, Mariana has been a familiar and friendly face in the library, where she takes great pleasure in helping students discover the joy of reading. Whether they are hunting for the latest Dog Man or a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, she finds true happiness in seeing children’s faces light up as they check out their favorites.

For Mariana, Oyama is more than just a workplace—it’s home! With two daughters currently in the fifth grade, she cherishes being able to work in a community where her own children are thriving. She highly recommends Oyama to any parent, noting that its small size means every teacher and staff member knows every student by name.

When she isn’t at school, Mariana stays active by reading, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. We are so grateful for the warmth and dedication Mariana brings to our TUSD students every day!
